Universal Investment, based in Frankfurt, is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager for Asset Owner Solutions. You will manage relationships with DACH asset owner clients, drive growth, and lead negotiations while ensuring client satisfaction across the portfolio.

The role requires deep fund industry knowledge, a robust institutional network, and fluency in German and English to communicate with diverse stakeholders. A dynamic, international team and client-centric approach await.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in economics/business studies or similar.
• Proven track record in the fund industry.

• Strong contract negotiations and revenue growth experience.

Senior Relationship Manager – Asset Owner Solutions

From our offices in Frankfurt, Krakow, Luxembourg, Dublin, Paris, Singapore and Stockholm, we continue to expand internationally.

We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Asset Owner Relationship-Management DACH Department 2 that is a part of our area of Relationship-Management DACH. We are responsible for the relationship with Asset Owner clients from the DACH region, mainly corporates and pensions.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers and achieve a good understanding of our clients’ needs
• Act as primary point of contact, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and engagement
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive upselling and cross‑selling initiatives
• Lead commercial negotiations and pricing discussions in alignment with company objectives
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue, profitability and retention targets
• Represent Universal Investment at investment committee and service meetings, workshops and sales pitches

Your skills and experience

• Completed degree in economics/business studies or similar
• A proven track record of experience in the fund industry
• Established and stable institutional clients network
• Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with Institutional Asset Owner clients
• Excellent commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiations, revenue growth initiatives, and strategic account management
• Sound knowledge of fund operations, fund administration, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluently in German and English
• High level of client focus, problem‑solving ability, and commitment to delivering exceptional service
