suena energy is seeking a Senior Quant Trading Analyst to design, optimize, and scale trading workflows with direct PnL responsibility across European power markets. You will work with cutting‑edge tools like PowerBot in a fast‑paced, startup environment, shaping trading strategies and automation.

The role blends strategy, execution, and risk management, requiring hands‑on quant skills, Python/SQL proficiency, and fluent English. German is a bonus in our international team.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years’ experience in power trading covering the full trade lifecycle.
• Analytical and strategic thinker leveraging data, mathematics, and logic to develop new trading approaches.
• Experience optimizing processes, developing tools, and ideally trading renewables.
• Python or SQL skills are mandatory – or you have hands‑on trading experience.

Who you’ll work with?

• Trading & Tech Crew: Collaborate daily with a cross‑functional team of developers, data scientists, traders and trading analysts - everyone close to the action, no silos.
• Sparring partner: Juri – an experienced trader (ex‑Sunnic, ex‑Centrica, ex‑Vattenfall), expert in renewables and algo trading. You’ll complement his market expertise with your quant and strategy skills, shaping and advancing our trading setup together.

Your mission

Your profile

• At least 3 years’ experience in power trading(CWE or UK), covering the full trade lifecycle.
• Analytical and strategic thinker – you leverage data, mathematics, and logic to develop new trading approaches and spot market opportunities.
• Experience optimizing processes, developing tools, and ideally trading renewables.
• Python or SQL skills are mandatory – or you impress with hands‑on trading experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a bonus.
• You stay sharp and make confident decisions—even when the pressure is on.
