Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned QA automation engineer in Germany to design and implement automated tests across backend and frontend systems. You will define test specifications, build robust automation frameworks, and drive continuous improvement within an Agile, cross-functional team.

Applicants should have 5+ years in test automation, strong knowledge of BDD/TDD, and experience in CI/CD environments. A degree in computer science is required, and collaboration with development to fix defects

• Build tools, frameworks, and infrastructure needed to support test automation.
• Review and validate application requirements and technical specifications to define test specifications for functional, integration, and performance tests.

• Collaborate with the development team to fix bugs and quickly address production defects.

Requirements

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
• You have a strong understanding of software development and test automation principles, such as BDD & TDD.
• You have experience in working in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to coach other engineers.
• Experience in developing software in a regulated environment is a plus.
