Overview

Your mission

For our Team ADA we are looking for a new senior team member. The ADA team at Checkmk focuses on Improving and extending cloud monitoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• As part of one of our product development teams you will work on the further development of our monitoring solution and contribute to the release of the next versions
• You will work closely with different teams such as QA, Security, Product Management and other development teams
• You will use technologies and tools such as Python, Jenkins, Pylint, Gerrit, git and Pytest to ensure that our platform stays up to date and provides a seamless experience for our customers
• As a member of our team youll be able to express a passion for improving software products
• We are an agile team that works in 2 week sprints with dailies, retros and planning and continuously improves our development process
• You like to bring in new ideas and approaches and work in a team that collaborates on new features and improvements

Your profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in backend development with Python
• You have good knowledge of Linux
• You are business fluent in written and spoken English
• Ideally you already have experience with Rust and / or Kubernetes
