Permanent Senior Project Manager (f/m/d) – Data Center Business, Grid Technology Substations, Germany. Responsible for leading large‑scale substation projects that electrify data centers and energy storage systems, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
- Lead large‑scale projects supported by multiple sub‑project managers, focusing on turnkey high‑voltage substations for data centers and energy storage systems
- Represent the company professionally toward internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Oversee project team capacity planning, workload distribution, performance management, and continuous team development
- Ensure adequate staffing of project teams in line with project requirements and organizational goals
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, permits, standards, and regulations, acting as a key technical authority within the project
- Contribute to the development of the data center business strategy in close collaboration with the sub‑region leadership team
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification combined with many years of relevant professional experience in project management
- Proven track record in the execution of large‑scale turnkey projects, including solid experience in international project management
- Strong knowledge of international contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC) or comparable standards
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including strong problem‑solving abilities, strategic thinking, and clear communication
- Fluent in English and proficient in German, with a high level of initiative and strong communication capabilities
