Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) for Digital Procurement Transformation

Snapshot of Your Day

You start your day by reviewing the project portfolio: Which digitization initiatives require prioritization today? You analyze KPI dashboards, assess risks, and prepare decision-making materials for the next SteerCo meeting. Next, you collaborate with a project team to structure a new workstream in Jira and support reporting, progress analysis, and operational management. At noon, you coordinate with the change management team on communication and adoption strategies for an upcoming rollout. In the afternoon, you harmonize project management standards, update frameworks, and drive the standardization of tools and processes. To wrap up the day, you prioritize new initiatives, evaluate value potentials, and align with global stakeholders on the next steps in the transformation process.

How You Can Make an Impact

Manage and coordinate a portfolio of digital procurement projects, including controlling, status monitoring, and risk assessment. Harmonize all project activities within a comprehensive, modular project management framework. Implement new, innovative project management methods, tools, and delivery mechanisms to position the organization for the future and remain competitive. Ensure the holistic implementation and quality assurance of project standards (tools, methods, governance, workflows). Provide operational support in projects, such as reporting, SteerCo preparation, progress analysis, and structuring work packages. Conduct online and onsite workshops for structuring, planning, alignment, and acceleration of transformation initiatives. Analyze, plan, and accelerate new digital procurement projects and oversee their end-to-end implementation. Establish and manage a KPI-based value and performance management system across all initiatives. Align with global stakeholders, including functional departments, product lines, and decision-makers. Coordinate cross-project tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project) and ensure consistent reporting and tracking standards. Drive conceptual change management in close collaboration with the central change management team. Harmonize project activities through an industrialized rollout management approach. Optimize internal processes, including decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and structural governance.

What You Bring

A bachelor's or master's degree in a business-related field, such as business administration or business psychology, with a focus on digital transformation. Proven experience in project management and change management within procurement. Experience in the conceptual design of organizational, process, and project structures. Extensive experience in developing, harmonizing, and applying modern project management tools and standards (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project). Strong stakeholder orientation and excellent communication skills, especially when working with cross-functional and global teams. Experience in cross-functional and cross-location transformation initiatives in a global environment. Expertise in KPI-driven workflows, value management, and analytical decision support. The ability to combine operational involvement (e.g., reporting, SteerCos, planning) with strategic framework and process development.
