The ideal candidate has 7+ years in project management in automotive, strong leadership, excellent German and English, and hands-on experience with MS Project, Planisware, and SAP. PMP certification is advantageous.

Job Overview

Leads complex, cross‑functional projects to successful completion, delivering on‑time, on‑budget, and on‑quality results. Demonstrates expert knowledge of project management methodologies, stakeholder leadership, and continuous improvement practices. Acts as a role model for professional behavior, communication, and collaboration.
This position is based at our Bensheim location.

Job Requirements

• Plans, controls, and executes projects they are assigned from initiation to launch, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and on‑quality delivery
• Proactively works with all functions to effectively complete projects on‑time, on‑cost, and on‑quality
• Manages risks, issues, and compliance across projects under their responsibility
• Resolves conflicts and effectively escalates topics appropriately on projects they manage
• Effectively communicates tasks, roles, expectations, and accountabilities toall team members on a regular basis
• Understands and utilizes best practices in project management
• Documents project lessons learned to foster continuous improvement
• Drive cross-team collaboration and support continuous improvement of Project Management methods and tools

• Supports different stages of the project management lifecycle, utilizing the tools and techniques to produce reports on project performance, budgets, and schedules
• Professionally manage change requests, including impact assessment, documentation, and approvals

• Provide clear, consistent project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders

What your background should look like

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
• 7+ years of project management experience, ideally in automotive industry
• Strong leadership presence with experience leading technical projects
• Excellent communication skills, including customer-facing reporting and executive updates
• Very good German and English language skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a solution‑oriented mindset
• Ability to influence without authority in a international, cross‑functional environment

• Proficient in Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planisware, SAP)
• PMP certification is a strong plus
