My client is seeking two highly experienced Project Managers to join our German development team. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies in a long-term, strategic capacity.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the development of onshore wind projects with a strong regional focus on Lower Saxony. You will be responsible for steering projects through the full permitting lifecycle, with particular emphasis on securing BImSchG approvals.
This is not a role we are looking to fill quickly – we are only interested in exceptional candidates who bring 5+ years of hands-on wind development experience and a proven track record of at least three successful BImSchG permits.
Drive the full development cycle of onshore wind projects
Lead permitting processes with local authorities and stakeholders
Oversee land acquisition, environmental assessments, and technical planning
Collaborate with internal teams including grid, finance, legal, and engineering
Represent the company at fairs, team events, and internal workshops (occasional travel to locations such as Düsseldorf and other offices across Germany)
Minimum 5 years of onshore wind development experience in Germany
Track record of at least 3 successful BImSchG permits
Strong regional understanding of Northern or Western Germany, especially Lower Saxony
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
German language proficiency required
Salary: €95,000 – €100,000, depending on experience
