Jobtailor in Germany seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex software implementations for tier-one banks and financial institutions. You will drive multi-workstream engagements, ensuring scope, staffing, and budgets are defined and met while coordinating with executive stakeholders.

You will mentor PMs, manage cross-functional teams and vendors, and own the lifecycle of SOWs and change orders, delivering on time and within budget in a highly regulated sector.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in Project Management.
• Demonstrated track record delivering large-scale software implementations for tier-one banks or financial institutions.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience managing implementations from the vendor/consulting side preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead one or more senior client engagements simultaneously, including complex, multi-workstream implementations for tier-one banks and financial institutions.
• Own consistent, successful delivery, ensuring scope, requirements, staffing, and budget are defined throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary escalation point for executive and C-level client stakeholders.
• Manage resources across internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors, including cross-regional and cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for decisions, action items, issues, and risks.
• Document detailed requirements for enhancements and new features, partnering with Architects and Consultants on solution design.
• Organize and lead user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify and manage project risk, including banking and financial-services regulatory and compliance considerations.
• Report project and program status to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers and Consultants.
• Ensure client satisfaction and identify future business opportunities.
• Lead the creation and lifecycle of Statements of Work, including scoping, effort/cost estimation, change orders, and renewals.
• Shape delivery methodology and scope new project phases.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Project Management
• Demonstrated track record delivering large-scale, complex software implementations for tier-one banks or major financial institutions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required
• Fluent English required
• Proven experience managing enterprise software implementations for highly regulated enterprises
• Deep knowledge of the SDLC and Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies
• Experience managing implementations from the vendor/consulting side strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to and influencing C-level and executive stakeholders
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Experience managing technology projects and programs from initiation through production launch and ongoing support
• Effective management of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, customer satisfaction, and senior-level client relationships
• Working knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations in banking and financial-services technology
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, and Visio
• Ability to prioritize, decide under ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent multi-tasking skills across several large projects or programs simultaneously
• Strong appreciation of technologies including databases and their implementation in business environments
• Expert knowledge of systems analysis, business analysis, requirements gathering, and project management techniques
• Demonstrated experience owning or co-authoring SOWs, change orders, and scope/estimation documentation
• Professional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a nice-to-have, not required
