Join to apply for the Senior Product Marketing Manager – Activation & Retention (m/f/x) role at HelloFresh.

Based at our Berlin HQ, you'll join our International Product Marketing team (part of the Global Brand team) and collaborate closely with our Product and Active Customer Commercial teams. This is a highly strategic and impactful role for a seasoned Product Marketing leader passionate about optimizing the end-to-end customer journey from initial sign-up to habit formation. Your mission is to define, measure, and enhance the critical moments that transform new customers into loyal advocates, directly impacting global growth and customer lifetime value. You will own the post-conversion customer journey in partnership with product and commercial teams, including onboarding, activation, and habit formation, ensuring a seamless and valuable experience that drives sustained product usage and loyalty globally.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver Onboarding Excellence: Partner with the Early Customer Journey product and commercial teams to design, implement, and continuously optimize onboarding to reduce time to value and resolve friction points.
  • Drive Retention Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive long-term retention & habit-building strategies, focusing on increasing Customer Lifetime Value and reducing churn.
  • Lead Customer Journey Communications & Messaging: Own the communications strategy across the early customer journey and craft effective messaging informed by A/B testing, to remove barriers and drive key retention behaviors.
  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Act as a strategic partner to Product, UX, and Commercial teams, driving cross-functional alignment and influencing roadmap decisions that support activation and retention goals.
What You’ll Bring
  • A Strategic & Passionate Lifecycle Product Marketer: 6+ years in Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Retention Management, Product Management, or similar roles with a focus on lifecycle and customer journey optimization.
  • Expert in Customer Journeys and Lifecycle Marketing Strategies: Deep expertise in crafting and executing lifecycle strategies, ideally within app-based platforms or consumer-focused brands.
  • Experience with Product-led Growth: Direct experience shaping activation and retention strategies in a product-led go-to-market model.
  • Analytical and Experimental: Proficient in analyzing data, retention metrics, hypothesis building, testing, and experimentation to optimize product and marketing tactics.
  • Master Collaborator: Proven ability to partner with Product and Commercial teams, influencing product development with a customer-centric mindset and leading cross-functional teams in a global setting.
  • Customer-Obsessed: Deep understanding of user psychology and a passion for solving customer problems.
  • Exceptional Executor: Strong project management skills to juggle multiple initiatives across diverse domains.
  • Messaging Expert: Ability to craft clear, compelling narratives that captivate customers and drive action.
