Zusammenfassung

1st Formations is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the evolution of our integrated formation, compliance, and accounting platform. You will own strategy and execution for key areas, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals as we scale.

You will collaborate with engineering on API and integration strategy, partner with design for user-facing experiences, and work with compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of product management experience with increasing scope and ownership.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong technical depth, particularly around APIs and integrations, to help shape the evolution of our platform. You'll own product strategy and execution for key areas of our integrated formation, compliance, accounting platform, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals as we scale.

As a thoughtful, technically fluent problem solver, you'll work closely with engineering to define API and integration strategy, partner with design on user-facing experience, and work with compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met. You'll use data and user insights to prioritise the roadmap, and you're comfortable getting into technical detail with engineers, reviewing API contracts, understanding integration architecture, and making informed trade-offs on build vs. buy or partner integrations.

This is a hands‑on senior role in a fast‑paced environment where strong technical judgement, ownership, stakeholder communication, and a deep understanding of both user needs and system architecture are essential. • Partner with engineering to evaluate build vs. buy decisions and assess third‑party integration partners
• Work with design to ensure user‑facing experiences are well‑supported by underlying technical architecture
• Partner with compliance to ensure new capabilities meet regulatory requirements (particularly relevant given the company formation/compliance context)
• Define and track product metrics, using data to inform prioritisation and validate outcomes
• Communicate roadmap, trade‑offs, and technical constraints clearly to senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
• Run discovery with users and internal stakeholders to validate problems before committing engineering resource
• Mentor and support the development of other product managers, where applicable

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of increasing scope and ownership
• Strong technical background, with hands‑on experience working with APIs, integrations, and system architecture (e.g. having worked closely with engineering on integration builds, or come from a technical/engineering background)
• Demonstrated experience owning a product area with meaningful technical complexity (integrations, platform, or infrastructure‑adjacent products)
• Excellent cross‑functional communication, able to translate between technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience working within a startup or scaleup environment, comfortable with changing requirements and a fast pace
• Strong analytical mindset -comfortable with metrics, funnel analysis, and data‑informed prioritisation
• Familiarity with compliance / regulatory constraints in product decisions (a plus, given the company formation and compliance context)
• Experience mentoring or providing product leadership to others
