You will lead PCR and LTR tire development, drive design innovations, and support continuous performance improvements. English is required; German is a plus.

PRINX Chengshan is establishing its Europe Tech Center (ETC) in Hannover as a key pillar of our European strategy and global innovation roadmap. We are looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer who wants to actively shape a new European R&D competence center, influence global technology direction, and turn ideas into real-world performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects for PCR and LTR tires, from concept to series release.
• Drive innovation in tire design, tread patterns, and performance optimization.
  Participate in hands-on testing and validation at European proving grounds.
• Collaborate internationally across R&D, Testing, Manufacturing, Sales, and Global Product Management.
• Play a key role in building and expanding the European R&D competence center.
• Provide technical guidance to continuously improve product performance, durability, safety, and quality.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Senior-level experience in tire product development (typically 10+ years, flexible depending on profile).
• Strong expertise in PCR and LTR tire design, materials, testing, and performance evaluation.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, market-ready products.
• English at business level is mandatory. German is desired but not required at the start.
• Analytical, creative, and hands-on problem solver with a collaborative mindset.

Location, Working Model, and Travel

Location: Hannover, Germany (Science Area).

Working model: On-site role with up to 30 percent home-office option.

Travel: Regular cooperation within Europe and occasional travel to China, Thailand, or Malaysia.

Reporting Line and Level of Influence

This position reports directly to the Europe R&D Director and offers a high level of technical influence with direct impact on European and global technology decisions.
