Job summary

Schwarz Digits is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to build internal tooling for automated infrastructure provisioning and to maintain monitoring for high availability and performance. You will work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of services on the platform and stay current with Kubernetes trends.

You should have strong Go programming skills, deep Kubernetes knowledge, and hands-on experience with Operator patterns, CI/CD tools, and IaC technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role.
• Passion for new technologies and Kubernetes, Linux, and virtualization.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture.
• Advanced programming experience, preferably in Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes Operator Pattern, service networking (Istio/Calico), and CI/CD tooling (Git, Concourse, Flux).
• Proficient in templating (Helm, Kustomize) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• You have already gained basic experience with the Kubernetes Operator Pattern, software-defined networking (e.g., Istio, Calico), and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Git, Concourse, Flux).
• You are well-versed in templating (e.g., Helm, Kustomize) and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) technologies.
