MARKT-PILOT is reinventing pricing transparency for industrial manufacturing and invites you to help scale its cloud platform. We’re seeking a (Senior) Platform Engineer to own reliability, lead Azure deployments, and advance automation in a fast-paced production environment.

You will collaborate with the Cloud Architect and cross-functional teams to shape the cloud roadmap and mentor peers, while delivering secure, scalable infrastructure. Hybrid/remote options and growth opportunities await.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on observability and SRE practices including SLOs, monitoring, and incident ownership.
• Production-scale Kubernetes experience (AKS or similar).
• Terraform or IaC background with automation.
• Strong CI/CD and cloud security fundamentals (IAM, encryption, compliance).
• Proven track record of driving adoption of tooling across teams.

Your Mission

• Own reliability and performance across our cloud platform: define and drive SLOs, monitoring, and incident response in a fast-moving production environment
• Lead complex Azure cloud deployments end to end, from planning and design through rollout and operations
• Build and evolve automation and infrastructure-as-code so our platform stays reliable, secure, and easy to operate at scale
• Champion platform tooling with other teams. Success is measured by adoption, not just delivery, so you work directly with teams to embed what you build
• Partner with our Cloud Architect and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver the cloud vision and roadmap
• Act as a Senior engineer who mentors others and multiplies the impact of the whole team

Your Skills

• Deep, hands-on observability and reliability experience: SLOs, monitoring, incident ownership, and modern stacks like Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus, or similar in real production environments
• Proven experience running Kubernetes (AKS or similar) at meaningful production scale, not just in sandboxes or personal projects
• Strong Terraform or equivalent IaC background, you automate by default and avoid ClickOps
• Solid CI/CD pipeline expertise and cloud security fundamentals, including IAM, least privilege, encryption, and compliance
• Clear track record of driving adoption of the tooling you build across other teams, this is a must-have, not a nice-to-have
• You aim for technical excellence, but know that shipping 80% today often beats chasing 101% forever
• You do not wait for permission, you take initiative, drive work to completion, and stand behind the solutions you deliver
