Zusammenfassung

Optimus Search seeks an experienced Senior MEP Project Planner to lead planning for a 40MW Data Centre in Erlensee, Germany. The role involves Primavera P6, baselining, weekly reports and coordination with BIM and digital engineering teams.

You will split time between Erlensee on-site (3 days/week) and Mainz office (2 days/week), with occasional travel to Croatia for modular manufacturing activities.

Senior MEP Project Planner – Data Centre

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Contract: Freelance

Duration: 14–15 Months

Overview

We are supporting a specialist contractor delivering a 40MW Data Centre in Erlensee, Germany, and are looking for an experienced MEP Project Planner to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale hyperscale data centre project from an early stage, taking ownership of planning and programme management whilst working alongside an established BIM and digital engineering team.

This requires someone who is confident building and managing Primavera P6 programmes and can operate independently on a live construction project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 project programmes
• Build and manage project baselines
• Produce weekly planning and progress reports
• Monitor MEP construction progress across the project
• Coordinate DfMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) activities
• Manage Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting against the WBS
• Coordinate BIM deliverables with the project programme
• Work closely with digital engineering and 4D planning teams
• Liaise with project management, construction and engineering teams to ensure programme accuracy

Requirements

• Previous experience building and baselining project programmes
• MEP project planning experience
• Previous construction project experience within complex engineering environments
• Data Centre experience is highly desirable
• Understanding of commissioning planning, EVM and BIM coordination is advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Working Pattern

• 3 days per week on site in Erlensee
• 2 days per week in the Mainz office
• Occasional travel to Croatia between January and March to support modular manufacturing activities
