Zusammenfassung

Cavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd seeks an experienced Oracle DBA to manage and optimize large Oracle database environments across client sites in Germany. You will drive automation, performance tuning and robust DR strategies while collaborating with development teams.

The role requires 10+ years of enterprise Oracle experience, fluency in German and English, and willingness to travel 50–60% to client offices. Frankfurt area access preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database versions (11g–23ai).
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Clusterware, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Expertise in Oracle Exadata, Exadata Cloud@Customer and performance tuning.
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures (RMAN, Flashback, Data Pump).
• Good knowledge of PL/SQL, Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with Ansible, Git, and JIRA.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% to clients' offices.
