European Tech Recruit seeks a Senior Operations Manager for our manufacturing site in Bremerhaven, Germany. This permanent, mostly onsite role leads strategy and daily operations for a facilities-wide footprint.

You will drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, capacity planning, and the digitisation roadmap (MES, IoT, predictive maintenance). The role collaborates with finance, quality, supply chain and HR to meet business goals.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations.
• Fluency in English and German is required.

• Develop and implement operational strategy, objectives, and standard procedures across the manufacturing site.
• Drive lean management, continuous improvement, capacity optimisation, and productivity initiatives.
• Own the digitisation roadmap including MES, IoT, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead capex planning, budget management, NPI, and technology transfers.
• Establish and monitor KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
• Partner cross-functionally with finance, quality, supply chain, and HR to align execution with business goals.

We are partnered with a global leader in industrial technology and electrical energy management solutions looking to hire a Senior Operations Manager to assume full strategic and operational responsibility for their manufacturing site in Northern Germany

This is a permanent opportunity, based primarily onsite in Bremerhaven (3-4 days onsite).

Key responsibilities for this Senior Operations Manager position:

• Develop and implement operational strategy, objectives, and standard procedures across the manufacturing site.
• Drive lean management, continuous improvement, capacity optimisation, and productivity initiatives.
• Own the digitisation roadmap including MES, IoT, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead capex planning, budget management, NPI, and technology transfers.
• Establish and monitor KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

• Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Change Management.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English and German is a hard requirement
