A NASDAQ-listed global leader in industrial technology manufacturing is seeking a Senior Operations Manager (f/m/d) to take full strategic and operational leadership of a key manufacturing facility in Bremerhaven.

This position offers complete site accountability—driving operational excellence, digitalisation, capacity optimisation, and sustainable growth across high-impact manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute operational strategy, lead Capex planning for equipment modernisation, and own the digitalisation roadmap (MES, IoT, predictive maintenance).
• Operational Execution: Oversee site operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency. Drive lean management, continuous improvement, ESG/sustainability targets, and NPI transfers.
• People & Culture: Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous development.
• Risk & Business Continuity: Establish robust Business Continuity Plans (BCP), manage operational bottlenecks, ensure audit readiness, and safeguard deliveries against supply chain disruptions.
• Cross-Functional Engagement: Act as a key escalation contact for operational partners and drive cross-functional standardisation and automation projects.

Requirements

• Experience: Extensive leadership experience within a complex manufacturing environment, with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Change Management.
• Education: Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent high-level professional qualifications.
• Languages: Native-level German and business-fluent English skills are essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems, data-driven KPI dashboards, and advanced MS Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Skills: A strategic, self-driven leader with a hands-on approach and a track record of driving performance turnarounds.
