Job summary

Bruin, a major international banking group in Frankfurt, is seeking a senior leader to drive operational risk governance and ICT/technology risk oversight in a regulated banking environment.

You will own the risk framework, provide second-line challenge, lead RCSA, oversee incidents and capital-related risk, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen risk culture and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive operational risk experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks, RCSA, incident management, and risk reporting.
• Experience overseeing technology, ICT, cyber, or resilience-related risks.
• Background in a second-line risk function with responsibility for independent challenge and governance.
• Good understanding of banking regulations and operational risk capital requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of implementing risk improvements.
• Fluency in German and English
