About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior Next.js Engineer to lead development of advanced data‑driven e‑commerce applications. You will architect scalable solutions, integrate modern databases, and connect third‑party services. This high‑impact role shapes customer experiences and business growth. You will build next.js and node.js applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Next.js applications for high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms.
- Design and optimize relational database schemas with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM.
- Build and manage efficient GraphQL APIs.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization systems.
- Integrate, maintain, and build microservices applications.
Required Technical Skills
- Frontend: Advanced Next.js 13+ / 15 (App Router, React Server Components). Strong React fundamentals (hooks, state management, context). TypeScript expertise for large‑scale projects. Modern UI/UX best practices and accessibility.
- Backend: Proficiency in Node.js (Express.js, Fastify, or similar frameworks). API development with GraphQL. Strong database design and query optimization with PostgreSQL. Prisma ORM for relational data modeling.
- Infrastructure & DevOps: Docker and container orchestration. Deployment and scaling on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS). Logging, monitoring, and debugging production systems.
- Performance & Security: Caching strategies (Redis, CDN, edge caching). Application and database performance tuning. Web security best practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field from top universities in Egypt. (ITI is recommended.)
- Experience building e‑commerce or SaaS applications.
- Solid foundation in distributed systems, database internals, and system security.
