Job summary

voize is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with experience in speech recognition to join our team. You will work on cutting-edge product design, applied ML research, and MLOps, building models with real user feedback and deploying features to production daily.

You will own the ML lifecycle from concept to production, train models with real data, and optimize for performance across languages and devices, including mobile inference and hosted environments.

Qualifications

• Several years hands-on experience in Deep Learning for speech recognition, including developing and optimising ASR-systems.
• Strong foundation in STT (Speech-to-Text) system development for real-world apps.
• Experience owning the ML process end-to-end from concept to production, maintenance, monitoring and optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for design, training, evaluation and deployment of deep learning models for speech recognition.
• Improve and refine models across languages and products, enabling fast inference on mobile and hosted environments.
• Collaborate with teams to ship features to production on a regular basis.

Your Mission

If you're a Machine Learning Engineer experienced with Speech recognition and are excited to work at the cutting edge of product design, applied ML research, and MLOps, then go ahead and apply! Your Daily Business - No two days are alike

• Take ownership for the design, training, evaluation, and deployment of our deep learning models in the space of speech recognition
• The models you build and refine are at the heart of our applications and directly impact the end-user
• You’ll improve a diverse family of speech models live in the field, across languages and products, and engineer fast inference on mobile devices and in hosted environments.

Your Skillset - What you bring to the table

• Several years hands‑on experience in Deep Learning for speech recognition, including developing and optimising ASR-systems (not just academic research)
• Excellent foundation in STT (Speech-to-Text) system development with a focus on real-world applications
• Experience with owning the ML process end-to-end: from concept and exploration, to model productionisation, maintenance, monitoring and optimisation
• Shipped ML models to production with Python and PyTorch
• Strong software engineering: clean code, tests, guardrails
