Job summary

NVision Quantum Technologies in Ulm, Germany, seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer to design and prototype components for advanced research instruments. You will translate device concepts into mechanical requirements and own critical trade-offs across disciplines.

Responsibilities include defining standards, supporting fabrication, assembly, testing, and maintaining CAD models (Onshape is a plus). The role offers an indefinite contract, relocation support, and generous vacation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
• At least 6 years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in design, fabrication, assembly and testing.
• Experience defining mechanical engineering standards of work and internal best practices, including design reviews, drawing and tolerancing conventions, revision control and verification practices.
• Solid CAD experience with Onshape is a plus.

• Solid CAD experience with experience with Onshape a plus.
