Zusammenfassung

Grob Aircraft AG in Germany seeks an experienced aerospace engineer to lead the design and integration of mechanical systems for the CS-23 aircraft. You will create and update design documentation, coordinate with teams, and support certification activities.

The role requires a Master of Aerospace Engineering and at least 5 years in aircraft development, with knowledge of ATA chapters. English is essential; German is a plus. Flight test experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master of Aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in aircraft development and certification, Part 23 preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with at least 3 Mechanical Systems ATA chapters (21, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 35, 36, 37, 49 and 7X)
• Understanding and experience of mechanical design, certification documentation, safety concepts and testing
• Flight test experience is a plus as well as basic knowledge of electrical systems and avionics
• Languages: English, German is a plus

• Contribute to troubleshooting, investigations, and practical engineering solutions during development and in-service support
• Ensure compliance with EASA CS-23 certification requirements and contribute to certification documentation

Your Mission

You lead and support the design and integration of aircraft mechanical systems for our CS-23 aircraft. From design documentation and technical coordination to prototype build and test support, you stay close to the aircraft, the hardware, and the teams who develop, build, and operate it.

Your Responsibilities
