In this role you will drive the execution of regional and local market access priorities within the national market access strategy, identifying and prioritizing barriers to timely and sustainable patient access. The role will be responsible for providing hands-on support in executing key launch activities across Germany supporting country-level regional and local market access tactics and initiatives to secure reimbursement of Revolution Medicines' assets. In close cooperation with the sales, marketing, government affairs, and medical departments and in line with the overall commercial business strategy, you will have an instrumental role in the development and execution of market access solutions. This will involve detailed and strategic involvement of various internal and external stakeholders, including hospitals, office-based oncologists, pharmacies, health insurances as well as medical associations and policy makers.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Pharmacy, Health Economics, Public Health, Life Sciences, or Business preferred (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MBA).
6+ years of experience in a Regional Market Access role within the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry.
Extensive experience in working with statutory health insurance companies in Germany, as well as with physicians' associations, MDK (\"Medizinischer Dienst\"), and other stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of existing regulations in the German pharmaceutical healthcare system, including but not limited to the legal pricing framework, post-AMNOG system-imminent access hurdles, dispensing of pharmaceuticals, the taxation and reimbursement framework, (re-) importation of pharmaceuticals, patient-individual importation of drugs, federal/regional contracts on dispensation of pharmaceuticals (e.g. dispensing
