Zusammenfassung

PUMA SE is seeking a Finance Business Partner to serve as the central finance contact for designated business areas, guiding stakeholders on financial and accounting topics and ensuring IFRS and local GAAP compliance.

The role includes month-end close, GL reconciliation, intercompany processes, fixed asset accounting, and management reporting. Fluency in English and a structured, hands-on working style are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as Bilanzbuchhalter or bachelor’s degree in finance.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
• Very good MS Office knowledge.
• Independent, structured and hands-on with strong analytical skills.
• Strong business-partnering mindset with cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.

Aufgaben

• Support fixed asset accounting including depreciation and retirements.
• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Prepare financial reports and management packs.
• Support audits with documentation and explanations.

YOUR MISSION

• Act as Finance Business Partner and central point of contact for assigned business areas, proactively supporting stakeholders on financial, accounting and process-related topics.
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate accounting discrepancies.
• Analyze financial transactions and ensure accurate recording in the ERP system.
• Prepare accruals, provisions, and prepaid expense calculations.
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset retirements.
• Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheet analyses, and management reporting packages.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Support of legal transformation projects.
• Support system and process testing, UAT and data validation, including preparation and follow-up of test cases and identified issues.
• Prepare and maintain relevant process, test and user documentation and support knowledge transfer.

YOUR TALENT

• Completed training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), alternatively a bachelor's degree in finance.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience with SAP R/3, SAP S4/Hana is an advantage.
• Very good MS Office knowledge.
• Independent work and structured way of working.

• Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent and hands-on way of working.
• Strong business-partnering mindset with good cross-functional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
