Zusammenfassung

Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) Europe is seeking a senior estates leader to shape and deliver the real estate strategy for a expanding network of veterinary clinics and hospitals across Europe. You will own a high‑impact property portfolio, lead asset management and navigate complex landlord/tenant matters while partnering with senior stakeholders and external advisers.

Travel internationally will be required.

Qualifikationen

• Significant senior estates management experience, ideally with at least 10 years’ experience and strong knowledge of property legislation across multiple European countries.
• Strong property portfolio and asset management expertise to inform growth, investment, relocation and disposal decisions.
• Proven experience managing complex landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews and regears.
• Experience supporting business acquisitions and growth programmes with property due diligence.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills in high-pressure environments.
• Experience managing external property consultants and budgets with an eye to building internal capability.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.

• Shape the future of a major international veterinary estate – help develop and deliver the Real Estate Strategy across a rapidly growing network of veterinary clinics and hospitals.
• Own a high-impact property portfolio – develop and implement asset management strategies that inform decisions to retain, invest, expand, relocate or divest sites.
• Be a trusted property expert – provide senior property advice across the business, including acquisitions, portfolio growth, lease negotiations, due diligence and complex estate matters.
• Work internationally and collaboratively – partner with senior stakeholders, internal teams and external advisers across multiple countries and functions.
• Lead transformation and growth – help shape effective property governance, policies and processes while developing the Estates capability as the in-house team grows.

The team

You’ll join the Global Real Estate, Facilities & Management (REFM) team and report directly to the Director of Real Estate

You’ll work closely with senior business leaders and colleagues across Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Legal, Operations and other corporate functions, as well as landlords, solicitors, consultants and other external partners. The role offers significant scope to influence how the estate develops as the organisation continues to grow.

What we’re looking for

• Significant senior estates management experience, ideally with at least 10 years’ experience and strong knowledge of property legislation and practices across multiple European countries.
• Strong property portfolio and asset management expertise, with the ability to develop strategies that support growth, investment, optimisation, relocation and disposal decisions.
• Proven experience managing complex landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals, new leases, regears, variations and surrenders, with a track record of managing risk and achieving value.
• Experience supporting business acquisitions and growth programmes, including property due diligence, securing appropriate property terms and advising stakeholders on property-related decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills, with the confidence to provide clear advice, present complex information and influence decisions at all levels.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective when managing competing priorities and complex situations.
• Experience managing external property consultants and professional fee budgets, with an interest in developing internal capability and reducing external dependency over time.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required by the role.
