Mars Veterinary Health Europe is seeking a Senior Health & Safety, Risk & Security Manager to drive health, safety, risk, and security across Central Europe. The role requires coordinating with senior leaders, shaping compliance programs, and delivering strategic safety projects.

You will travel up to 20% and maintain a regular presence in Munich, contributing to a safety-first culture across a growing veterinary network.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in a multi-site health and safety role, ideally across dispersed organizations.
• Native-level German (written and spoken) with fluent business English.
• Willingness to travel ~20% across Central Europe and regular presence in Munich.
• NEBOSH National Diploma and IOSH membership are preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills.

The team

You’ll join the Mars Veterinary Health Europe (MVHE) Global Real Estate & Facilities Management (REFM) team, reporting to the Director of Site Health & Safety, Risk & Security. The team supports a growing network of veterinary hospitals and clinics across Europe, partnering closely with operational leaders, practice teams, and specialist functions to create safe, compliant, and high-performing workplaces. This role has a broad geographic scope and offers the opportunity to influence strategy while working collaboratively across multiple business functions.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in a multi-site health and safety role, ideally across complex or geographically dispersed organizations.
• Native-level German language proficiency (written and spoken) alongside fluent business English.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time across Central Europe, with a regular presence in the Munich office.
• NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent) and Tech IOSH membership.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage leaders and turn priorities into action.
• Nice to have: Additional NEBOSH Fire, CDM, or equivalent qualification.
