Uniper is seeking an Energy Offtake Manager to originate and manage renewable energy contracts across multiple markets. You will mentor a country-focused team and drive negotiations, regulatory submissions and strategic partnerships to accelerate commercial activities in the renewables portfolio.

The role requires strong leadership, a broad network in the energy sector, and the ability to coordinate across borders while balancing commercial and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• C-Suite level exposure and experience in commercial energy contracts.
• Proven track record in renewables and energy offtake negotiations.
• Experience in trading origination, sales, or power procurement.
• Strong network across renewable energy customers and offtakers.
• International work experience and travel willingness.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

• Originate, develop, manage & operate energy offtake contracts for renewables.
• Mentor and develop country-focused Energy Offtake Managers and Associates across Germany, Poland, Italy, UK, France and Hungary.
• Coordinate and support participation in regulatory tenders for subsidies (CfDs, PPAs, GO-REGO etc.).
• Lead and train on commercial decision paper processes for Renewables Leadership Team.
• Widen strategic partnerships to accelerate commercial activities and expand Uniper's brand.

Your responsibilities

• Originate, develop, manage & operate the energy offtake contracts for Uniper’s renewable assets in Germany, Poland, Italy, UK, France or Hungary.
  • Government Subsidy Schemes (CfDs), Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Route to Market Agreements, GO – REGO only contracts, Battery tolling agreements, Claims management
• Mentor and develop a team of country focused Energy Offtake Managers and Associates active within Germany, Poland, Italy, UK, France and Hungary.
• Supporting in activities regarding origination, structuring, negotiation, approval seeking & managing of contracts
• Coordinating and supporting the participation of Uniper’s renewables projects at regulatory tenders for subsidies (e.g. Feed-in Tariffs or Contracts for Difference)
• Leading and training on the commercial decision paper processes for the Uniper Renewables Leadership Team
• Widen and identify strategic partnerships to accelerate commercial activities
• Widening the network of market players (local utilities, corporate offtakers, trading companies etc.) and expanding the Uniper brand as a global player in the renewable energies sector
• Facilitating and developing the cross functional collaboration within the Renewables business as well as between the Energy Offtake team and relevant internal and external stakeholders and partners
• Reports to the Vice President Energy Offtake

Your profile

• C-Suite level exposure and management experience
• Expertise in renewable energy with proven track record in commercial contract negotiations
• Relevant work experience in either a trading, (PPA) origination, sales, power procurement or comparable commercial role
• Strong network across the Renewable Energy Industry and/or potential power offtakers
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills with analytical mindset
• Excellent presentation skills and a good eye for summarizing complex facts
• Good understanding of the renewable energy markets, pricing schemes as well as regulatory renumeration systems
• Experience in people management across different cultures
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• International work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
• Willingness to travel monthly
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Law or comparable studies
• Creative and open-minded individual with a motivating “can-do” mentality and a good sense of humor
• We are flexible on where the role can be based - Most work can be done from home with willingness to work from the office at least once a month
• Business fluency in English and Polish is required
