Job summary

flaconi is seeking a hands-on Senior Logistics IT Project Manager to bridge from operations to executive vision, shaping our warehouse systems and driving automation as we expand internationally.

You will spend two days per week on-site at Halle (Saale) fulfillment center, coordinating internal and external teams, and pushing AI-enabled improvements while ensuring reliable logistics operations.

Fluency in English and German, plus experience with WMS/ERP, are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven IT project management experience in fast-paced e-commerce/logistics environments.
• Extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP integrations.
• Understanding of AI principles and applying AI to boost productivity.
• Hands-on mindset with ownership and analytical thinking; ready to work on the warehouse floor.
• Excellent communication with engineers, fulfillment teams, and executives.
• Willing to work on-site at Halle (Saale) at least 2 days per week.
• Business fluent English and German skills.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in shaping our warehouse systems to fuel flaconi’s international market expansion, directly influencing our long-term logistics strategy.
• Bridge clear communication between technical engineers, fulfillment staff, and executive directors—translating complex operational challenges into clear decision frameworks for leadership.
• Spend at least 2 days a week on-site at our fulfillment center in Halle (Saale) to support our users, stay close to daily operations, and tackle systemic issues right where they happen.
• Cover end-to-end IT project management for roadmap initiatives, coordinating internal business/tech teams, external development resources, software vendors, and logistics providers.
• Drive and enable AI and automation adoption across our warehouse workflows (from inbound to outbound) while sustaining top-tier operational reliability.
• Steer our warehouse operations toward maximum efficiency, high performance, and seamless automation alongside our Enterprise Apps department.

Your Profile

• Proven track record in IT project management within a fast‑paced e‑commerce, logistics, or fulfillment environment.
• Extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their integrations with enterprise platforms (ERPs, shop systems, Master Data Management).
• Understanding of AI principles and a passion for actively leveraging AI in your daily work to work smarter and boost productivity.
• Hands‑on mentality and a curious mind—with drive, ownership, and an analytical mindset, you are always eager to step onto the warehouse floor, challenge the status quo, and resolve operational escalations quickly.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust and speak fluently to tech engineers, fulfillment teams, and executive stakeholders alike.
• Readiness to work on‑site at our fulfillment center in Halle (Saale) at least 2 days per week.
• Business fluent English and German skills.

Salary range (annual brutto): €55.000 EUR - €72.000 EUR
