KONE Corporation seeks a Senior Lead Mobile SW Developer for the Technician Experience Platform. You will join Digital Services, SW in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland, working on mobile experiences for field technicians with Kotlin-first development, declarative UI, and Kotlin Multiplatform.

You'll design modern mobile architecture, collaborate with designers and backend teams, and drive high-quality end-to-end features in a hybrid work setup with remote days.

Qualifikationen

• Kotlin mastery with strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) libraries such as Koin/Hilt, Ktor, Kotlinx.Serialization, RoomDB, Coil.
• Architectural patterns like MVVM or MVI and unaidirectional data flow.
• Experience building or maintaining a Design System based on Material Design 3.
• Ability to manage complex UI state across shared modules and platform views.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

In this role, you will build next-generation mobile experiences that empower field technicians with modern, reliable, and delightful tools—enabling smoother workflows, smarter decision support, and faster service operations. You will help shape a modern mobile architecture with Kotlin-first development, declarative UI, and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) where it makes sense to accelerate delivery while ensuring a high-quality user experience.

What you’ll do

• Develop and evolve mobile applications for the Technician Experience Platform, focusing on usability, performance, and reliability
• Build modern UI with Jetpack Compose (Previous experience with Compose Multiplatform is plus)
• Design and implement shared business logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) where it adds value
• Contribute to strong mobile architecture using MVVM using recommended guidelines & best practices
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to a local Design System aligned with Material Design 3
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend teams, and product to deliver high-quality end-to-end features
• Ensure quality through solid engineering practices: maintainability, testability, accessibility, and performance tuning
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development ways of working and engineering standards

What we’re looking for

• Kotlin mastery: deep expertise in Kotlin, including Coroutines, Flow, and functional programming patterns
• Declarative UI expertise: proven experience with Jetpack Compose (Compose Multiplatform is a strong plus)
• KMP ecosystem experience: hands-on experience with KMP-friendly libraries such as Koin/Hilt, Ktor, Kotlinx.Serialization, RoomDB, Coil
• Architecture patterns: strong understanding of MVI or MVVM designed for unidirectional data flow
• Design systems: experience building or maintaining a local Design System using Material Design 3 (M3)
• State management: proficiency in managing complex UI states across shared modules and platform-specific views
• CI/CD practices: experience working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Know-how about AWS or other public cloud platforms and how mobile solutions integrate with cloud services
