Amer Sports seeks a Senior IT Project Manager for its Garching near Munich office to lead end-to-end enterprise application projects across SAP and non-SAP platforms. Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in consulting/IT services
• Proven success delivering SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA or other enterprise projects in international environments
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Systems, CS, or related field
• Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes and system integrations
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, resources, and governance
• Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, and similar tools
• Exposure to SAP and non-SAP SaaS applications
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong ownership mindset, global collaboration capabilities
• Certifications like PMP/PRINCE2 are advantageous

In this role, you will lead business-critical projects across a diverse enterprise application landscape spanning SAP and non-SAP solutions. You will work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver transformation initiatives that improve business processes, support growth, and enable our long-term digital strategy.

What you will be doing

Lead end-to-end project delivery

• Manage medium to large-scale enterprise application projects across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Own project scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate activities across planning, design, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple countries, brands, and business functions.
• Support the adoption of standardized and scalable business processes.

Partner with the business

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges, and strategic objectives
• Facilitate workshops, governance meetings, and decision-making sessions.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders and key stakeholders across the organization.

Coordinate enterprise application landscapes

• Deliver projects involving SAP solutions including S/4HANA, ECC, EWM, etc.
• Lead initiatives involving SaaS platforms and non-SAP business applications.
• Manage dependencies across systems, integrations, and application teams.
• Ensure end-to-end delivery readiness across interconnected solutions.

Manage external partners and vendors

• Coordinate implementation partners, consulting firms, and technology vendors.
• Monitor project milestones, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Support contract governance and supplier performance management where required.

Ensure quality, governance, and compliance

• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with Amer Sports' IT governance, security, and quality standards.
• Coordinate testing, deployment readiness, and business adoption activities.

What you need to succeed

• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally gained within a consulting, IT services, or system integration environment.
• Proven success delivering SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, or other enterprise application projects in international and complex business environments.
• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes, business processes, and system integrations.
• Solid knowledge of project planning, budgeting, resource coordination, and project governance.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and similar collaboration platforms.
• Exposure to both SAP and non-SAP business applications, including SaaS solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects from planning through successful delivery.
• Ability to influence decisions, align diverse stakeholders, and work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or a similar project management certification would be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
