Responsibilities

• Ensure secure and stable operation of the IT infrastructure
• Actively contribute to the technological advancement of the infrastructure
• Take technical ownership of central infrastructure topics
• Serve as a point of contact for technical questions within the team
• Support the development of technical standards, architectures and best practices
• Further develop the IT and network infrastructure
• Optimize the server and virtualization environment in hybrid Microsoft Windows and Linux landscapes
• Analyze operational data to improve performance and availability
• Responsible for the administration, configuration and ongoing development of the network and security environment

Requirements

• Several years of experience administering network, server and IT infrastructures
• Solid knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching and VPN
• Experience operating secure and stable infrastructures
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Experience with hybrid environments using Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
• Practical experience with virtualization solutions, ideally VMware
• Knowledge of firewall and security systems
• Know-how in monitoring, software distribution, endpoint management and IT service processes
• Interest in technological progress, automation and the use of AI/ML in IT infrastructure
