HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly qualified Information Assurance SME to provide 603rd AOC/A39 support to multiple efforts within the Information Operations mission area including;comprehensive support for the execution and oversight of cybersecurity programs within the Enterprise Service Center (ESC). This role is responsible for conducting Assessment and Approval (A&A) functions for IT systems and supporting the broader Information Assurance (IA) program, including Emissions Security (EMSEC) and Computer Security (COMPUSEC) initiatives.

The ideal candidate will leverage automated tools such as Web HelpDesk, SolarWinds, ACAS Security Center, and XACTA IA Manager to ensure continuous monitoring and compliance across assigned systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with key stakeholders, conducting security self-assessments, remediating findings, and maintaining accurate system baselines. This position requires a proactive approach to system configuration changes and accreditation updates to ensure alignment with IA standards and mission objectives.

What You Will Do
  • Leverage various automated tools (Web HelpDesk, SolarWinds network management discovery tool and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution [ACAS] Security Center, XACTA IA Manager)
  • Ensure all assigned systems are continuously monitored.
  • Interact with key stakeholders (site Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), PMO system, and other site POCs) to facilitate the collection of data required for input within each A&A project.
  • Make periodic evaluation and assistance visits as directed by in support of A&A efforts.
  • Prepare, review, conduct, and document security self-assessment using the assessment plan developed within XACTA.
  • Remediate self-assessment findings, where possible, and develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for all unresolved findings.
  • Actively monitor changes to configuration of assigned systems and ensure that accreditation packages are updated accordingly.
  • Maintain a current inventory/baseline of -approved security hardware and software within XACTA for assigned systems/sites.
What We Are Looking For
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • In depth knowledge of and ability to implement Information Assurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding and experience with the Information Assurance Vulnerability Message (IAVM) program, and comprehensive knowledge and experience with DoD Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and/or DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and procedures.
  • Certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II.
  • Clearance: Must posses and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and a minimum of 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed.
