Title: Senior Implementation Project Manager – Global HCM Software Projects

Location: Remote, Germany (Fluent English and German required)

A global technology leader within the Human Capital Management (HCM) space is seeking an experienced Senior Implementation Project Manager to join their professional services team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a cutting-edge cloud-based HCM platform used by some of the world’s most recognized organizations.

You will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of complex software solutions for international clients, ensuring each project is delivered to scope, on schedule, and within budget. The role involves overseeing multiple projects at once, coordinating cross-functional resources, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout each stage of delivery.

The Role

• Lead and deliver several large-scale client implementations simultaneously, ensuring quality, budget control and on-time completion
• Define and manage project scope, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations
• Drive project governance including stakeholder management, risk control and change processes
• Collaborate with internal teams across consulting, education, and support functions to deliver best-in-class service
• Present key documentation and gain sign-off at critical project stages (kick-off, discovery, UAT, go-live, etc.)
• Provide project health reviews and lessons learned sessions post-delivery
• Motivate and coach team members, ensuring knowledge is captured and shared across the organization
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of implementation frameworks and best practice methodology
• Mentor less experienced consultants and assist clients through user acceptance testing and organizational readiness

Experience Required

• A strong track record (5+ years) in software implementation project management within HCM, ERP, payroll or workforce management systems
• Experience managing SaaS / cloud-based implementation projects
• Relevant qualifications such as PMP or Prince2 are highly desirable
• Fluency in English and German is essential
• Experienced in using tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio
• Strong skills in business process mapping and solution documentation
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management ability
• Confident leading workshops and facilitating sessions with both business and technical audiences
• Able to manage competing priorities across several clients simultaneously
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
