Job summary

TYTAN Technologies is seeking an experienced HR Operations & Process Specialist to build and maintain robust people operations. You’ll own employee support, HR administration, payroll coordination, and process improvements to keep our team accurate, efficient, and scalable.

You’ll work across HR topics in a fast-paced, international environment, bring ownership, and help shape leveling, compensation benchmarking, and performance processes as TYTAN scales in Munich and beyond.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HR operations or personnel administration.
• Hands-on payroll experience and solid knowledge of German employment law.
• Experience building or improving HR processes from scratch.
• Exposure to performance management, 360° feedback, leveling or compensation benchmarking.
• Ownership and precision with sensitive data.
• Approachable and responsive communication in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Fluent German and strong English, both written and spoken.

• Own payroll preparation and execution, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.

As our HR Operations & Process Specialist, you’ll play a hands‑on role in building and maintaining the foundations that support our team. From employee support and HR administration to payroll coordination and process improvement, you’ll help ensure that our People operations are accurate, efficient, and reliable.

This is a role for someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems, and wants to make a tangible impact. You’ll work across different areas of HR, help improve how we operate, and grow into broader responsibilities as our company scales.

Your roadmap to make an impact

• Employee support and documentation: Be the first point of contact for employee enquiries and provide timely, helpful support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Prepare and manage HR documentation, including employment contracts, amendments, Arbeitsbescheinigungen, EZB, employment references and other employee documents, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Payroll: Own payroll preparation and execution, ensuring employee data is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
• HR processes and continuous improvement: Take ownership of operational topics, build scalable HR processes from the ground up and improve existing ones as we grow. You enjoy figuring things out, tackling new challenges and turning ideas into practical solutions.
• Performance and development: Build and run TYTAN’s performance process, including 360° feedback cycles.
• Leveling and compensation: Develop a leveling framework and compensation structure grounded in market benchmarking.
• Organisational design and culture: Bring a strategic perspective to how TYTAN is structured as it scales, and help drive cultural transformation in line with our PACE values.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with colleagues/leads across the company to coordinate HR topics, keep People Operations aligned, resolve questions and make sure processes run smoothly from start to finish.

Job requirements

• Experience: 4+ years in HR operations or personnel administration, ideally as a generalist covering the full employee lifecycle.
• Payroll and labour law: Hands‑on payroll experience and solid knowledge of German employment law and HR documentation.
• Process builder: You have built or improved HR processes from scratch and enjoy creating structure in a scaling environment.
• People programmes: Exposure to performance management, 360° feedback, leveling or compensation benchmarking.
• Ownership and precision: You follow things through proactively and handle sensitive data with care and accuracy.
• Communication: Approachable and responsive, comfortable in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Languages: Fluent German and strong English, written and spoken.
