Job summary

SCAYLE is hiring a Senior Golang Engineer for DevOps Enablement in Hamburg. The role focuses on building scalable backend services, solving caching and performance challenges, and empowering 100+ internal developers with practical tools.

You will own deployments to Kubernetes, manage Terraform/Terragrunt, and participate in on-call duties. We expect 5+ years of production Go experience and a strong bias toward ownership, reliability, and delivering high‑quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of focused experience writing production Go and designing scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Solve scalability and caching problems by architecting resilient backend services for high-traffic e‑commerce patterns.
• Deliver end‑to‑end tooling that internal developers love to use.
• Write clean, reviewable Go code; manage Terraform/Terragrunt setups; deploy to Kubernetes; and on-call for services.
• Foster an advanced engineering culture in an agile, English‑speaking environment with high code quality standards.
