Zusammenfassung

Olivaw is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to take real ownership, set technical standards and actively shape the product. You will architect a large React/Next.js frontend within a robotics/AI platform and collaborate with a small, experienced team to drive meaningful product decisions.

Expect to work with TypeScript, Go, MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and to build scalable systems leveraging Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React and Next.js at architectural level.
• Experience owning significant parts of a SaaS or software product end to end.
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD and monitoring.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience with frontend testing and asynchronous architectures.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus who

wants to take real ownership, set technical standards and actively shape the product.

The Role

Frontend Architecture

• Architecture and structure of a large React/Next.js application
• Development of consistent patterns, standards and best practices
• Technical and visual consolidation of the existing frontend
• Scalable, maintainable and high-quality solutions

UX/UI

• Translating product requirements into intuitive interfaces
• Independent UX/UI decisions — even without a dedicated designer
• Continuous improvement of usability and overall product experience

Testing & Quality

• Establishing unit, component and E2E testing
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD
• Defining and enforcing frontend standards
• Code reviews focused on quality and long-term maintainability

Fullstack Development

• Working with TypeScript, Go, MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Integrating APIs, authentication and asynchronous processes

Infrastructure

• Working with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Monitoring, deployment and independent troubleshooting

Technical Leadership

• Making, explaining and defending technical decisions
• Actively shaping architecture and product discussions
• Establishing technical standards through code reviews and best practices

Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React and Next.js at architectural level
• Experience owning significant parts of a SaaS or software product end to end
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Strong hands-on experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD and monitoring
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Experience with frontend testing and asynchronous architectures
• Working knowledge of Go, or the ability and motivation to learn it quickly
• Strong UX/UI judgement and a high bar for product quality
• Highly independent, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Genuine ownership mentality — you see what needs to be improved and take responsibility for making it happen
• Experience in a startup or product environment is a plus
• Fluent English; German is a plus
