Delivery Hero in Berlin is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Kotlin/Java/React) to join our Fintech team and build wallets, payments and anti-fraud solutions used worldwide. You will help scale our Payments engine and empower merchants and customers with seamless financial services.

You will lead backend and frontend work, leverage Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit and React, and own services end-to-end with a strong emphasis on automation, CI/CD, security and reliability.

• Design, build, and deliver highly scalable software systems operating in complex, global business environments, used across more than 70 countries
• Lead backend and frontend engineering efforts with a strong focus on distributed systems, leveraging Java, Kotlin, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit and frontend technologies such as React / TanStack.
• Own services end-to-end by embracing a true “you build it, you run it” mindset, with deep involvement in infrastructure automation and continuous deployment.
• Drive high-quality software design by systematically applying design patterns, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Build secure, resilient systems by applying secure coding best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Influence engineering culture through hands‑on leadership, technical mentorship, and continuous improvement.

Work and scale our internal Payments engine that would handle payments for the entire Delivery Hero. • Hands‑on mastery of Java, Kotlin, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit.


• Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript and React and PostgreSQL.


• A strong engineering ownership mindset with a passion for automation, CI/CD, and reliability.
