Job summary

Thieme seeks a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Information Technology division and help shape the digital future of medicine. You will build data‑driven services for doctors, students, nurses and laypeople, including authentication systems, in an agile environment.

As part of our Engineering Org, you will embed your expertise within the company, support our transition to a product‑oriented organization, and help deliver innovative healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience building fullstack applications with Typescript and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of scalable, maintainable architecture and best practices in frontend and backend engineering.
• Experience in operations related topics like custom and business relevant metrics, incident management and monitoring
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within a product-oriented organization.
• Passion for clean code, quality, and continuous improvement in both technology and ways of working.
• A proactive mindset with strong communication skills and a drive to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle from concept to production, including operations and continuous improvement of our services.
• Actively spar with your peers and the Product Manager to challenge ideas, refine solutions, and deliver maximum value.
• Mentor and support junior and less experienced colleagues to help them grow and succeed in their engineering journey.
• Thrive in a modern product team setup, working within a product operating model and contributing to outcome-driven development.
• Bring an open mind to new ideas, challenge assumptions constructively, and focus on solving real customer problems with impactful solutions.
