Thieme Medical Publishers, Inc. in Stuttgart seeks a senior frontend engineer to own the development of a new central product platform. You will guide architecture decisions, translate roadmaps with your team, and drive a culture of ownership and innovation.

You will lead modern product teams, shape our digital product organisation, and contribute to hiring and capability growth. Flexitime and mobile working within Germany are included.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or training in computer science, informatics or comparable qualification.
• 5+ years of hands-on TypeScript and Next.js experience.
• Proven leadership of modern product teams.
• Strong software architecture and product orchestration experience.
• Knowledge of regulated environments (MDR) is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with external technology partners is beneficial.

Your Role & Your Impact

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the further development of our new central product platform.
• Work with your team to translate strategic roadmaps into concrete product, technology and architecture decisions. Be a sparring partner for the Product Manager and support the strategic development of the product with technically excellent solutions.
• Take technical responsibility for building new team and promote a culture of ownership and innovation. Develop best practices and support the continuous development of your team and individual team members.
• Become part of our transformation into a digital product organization and play an active role in shaping it – among other things, by supporting us in hiring the right talent for our shared future.

Your Profile

• Completed degree or training in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience (5+ years) with TypeScript and Next.js environments
• In-depth experience in leading and developing modern product teams
• In-depth experience in modern software and system architecture Experience in the orchestration and operation of software products
• Knowledge of regulated environments (e.g. MDR compliance) is an advantage
• Experience in working with external technology partners is an advantage
