Founded in Berlin, autarc is a ~40 person start‑up that was part of Y Combinator’s S24 batch in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech, and Operations, with the Engineering & Product department currently ~20 people.

Role Description

This role joins our Core Engineering team, focused on improving developer and user experience. You will work on database performance, app scalability, quality assurance, and integrating third‑party SaaS, and influence wider Product squads.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions with a long‑term view on scalability and reliability
• Own and extend our offline‑first sync infrastructure
• Shape internal developer experience through monorepo tooling and shared libraries
• Cover the stack from API design and database performance to infrastructure and observability
• Partner with Design and Product to ship end‑to‑end features
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate prototyping cycles and raise the bar for what the team can ship
