Zusammenfassung

TechMinds GmbH sucht einen erfahrenen Senior Developer zur Weiterentwicklung der Core-Komponenten in C++/Qt und zum Aufbau der Frontend-Architektur in Angular/TypeScript. Sie arbeiten eng mit dem DevOps-Team zusammen und gestalten die User Experience sowie die visuelle Umsetzung professioneller Anwendungen im Medienbereich.

Sie bringen mehrjährige Erfahrung in C++-Entwicklung, Qt6 und Frontend-Technologien mit.

Qualifikationen

• Requires degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Several years of professional C++ development experience with Qt6
• Frontend development experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience in performance-critical and low-level software; familiar with Windows and Linux
• Experience integrating backends via HTTP and WebSocket interfaces
• Strong focus on UX, UI and visual implementation of interfaces
• Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and Docker is beneficial

• Develop core components of a software product in C++ (page composition, rendering, print output)

Your Tasks

• You will further develop the performance-critical core components of a software product in C++, including key functionality for page composition, rendering, and print output
• You will further develop the new web frontend of a complex layout and content application, implementing a user interface whose functionality and interaction logic are comparable to professional desktop publishing applications
• You will be responsible for the UX, UI, and visual quality of the application for professional users in the media industry
• You will be responsible for the backend development of the web product and integrate the frontend with the C++/Qt backend via modern HTTP and WebSocket interfaces
• You will drive the modernization of the architecture, including running the frontend and backend as Docker containers
• You will coordinate new features closely with the management team and jointly plan development activities for the core products
• As a Senior Developer, you will act as a point of contact for your colleagues and continuously improve code quality
• You will actively contribute new development trends and your own ideas while working closely with the DevOps team

Your Profile

• You have a completed degree in Computer Science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience
• You have several years of professional experience in C++ software development, ideally with C++11 or later, as well as knowledge of Qt 6
• You have several years of experience in frontend development with Angular and TypeScript
• You have experience in performance-critical and low-level software development and are familiar with programming on Windows and Linux
• You are experienced in integrating backends via HTTP and WebSocket interfaces
• You have a strong focus on UX, UI, and the visual implementation of user interfaces
• Ideally, you have experience with complex web interfaces and a background in print, layout, or graphics software
• Ideally, you have knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, as well as Docker
• You are willing to take ownership, independently drive topics forward, and play a leading role within the team
• You see yourself as a team player, communicate openly, and enjoy working on an equal footing with your colleagues
• You have good English skills; good German skills are an advantage
