TechMinds GmbH is looking for a Senior Developer to strengthen the performance-critical core of our software product. You will develop C++ components, work on page composition, rendering, and print output, and handle backend interfaces (HTTP and WebSocket).

Responsibilities include architecture modernization, Docker-based deployments, feature coordination with management, and leadership within the team. Collaboration with DevOps to move solutions into production is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Experience with performance-critical and low-level software development.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux.

Your Tasks

• You will further develop the performance-critical core components of a software product in C++
• You will work on the core functionality for page composition, rendering, and print output
• You will be responsible for the backend development of the web product, including the HTTP and WebSocket interfaces to the frontend
• You will drive the modernization of the architecture, including running backend components as Docker containers
• You will coordinate new features closely with the management team and jointly plan development activities for the core products
• As a Senior Developer, you will act as a point of contact for your colleagues and continuously improve code quality
• You will actively contribute new development trends and your own ideas
• You will work closely with the DevOps team to transition solutions from development into production

Your Profile

• You have a completed degree in Computer Science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience
• You have several years of professional experience in C++ software development, ideally with C++11 or later
• You have experience in performance-critical and low-level software development
• You are familiar with programming on Windows and Linux
• Ideally, you have knowledge of Qt 6
• Ideally, you have experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, as well as Docker
• Ideally, you have experience in the field of print, layout, or graphics software
• You are willing to take ownership, independently drive topics forward, and play a leading role within the team
• You see yourself as a team player, communicate openly, and enjoy working on an equal footing with your colleagues
• You have good English skills; good German skills are an advantage
