Zusammenfassung

TechMinds GmbH is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to build a new web frontend for a complex layout app. You will ensure top UX/UI quality for professional media users and connect the UI to a C++/Qt backend via HTTP and WebSocket.

You’ll help modernize architecture, run the frontend and backend in Docker containers, and work closely with management on new features. English skills are required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Several years of frontend development experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong focus on UX/UI and visual implementation of interfaces.
• Experience developing complex web interfaces for editors, layout apps, or graphics software.
• Experience integrating backends via HTTP and WebSocket interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and Docker.
• Willingness to take ownership and drive topics.
• Team player with good communication in English; German is a plus.

Your Tasks

• You will further develop the new web frontend of a complex layout and content application
• You will implement a user interface whose functionality and interaction logic are comparable to professional desktop publishing and layout software
• You will be responsible for the UX, UI, and overall visual quality of the application for professional users in the media industry
• You will connect the frontend to the C++/Qt backend via modern HTTP and WebSocket interfaces
• You will drive the modernization of the architecture, including running the frontend and backend as Docker containers
• You will coordinate closely with management on new features and jointly plan development activities for the company’s core products
• As a Senior Developer, you will act as a point of contact for your colleagues and continuously improve code quality
• You will actively contribute new development trends and your own ideas while working closely with the DevOps team

Your Profile

• You have a completed degree in Computer Science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience
• You have several years of professional experience in frontend development with Angular and TypeScript
• You have a strong focus on UX, UI, and the visual implementation of user interfaces
• You have experience developing complex web interfaces, ideally for editors, layout applications, or graphics software
• You are experienced in integrating backends via HTTP and WebSocket interfaces
• Ideally, you have basic knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, as well as Docker
• You are willing to take responsibility, drive topics forward independently, and play a key role in shaping the team’s technical direction
• You are a team player who communicates openly and enjoys working collaboratively on an equal footing
• You have good English skills; good German skills are an advantage
