SCAYLE is seeking a senior frontend engineer to drive high-leverage features that optimize user experience and conversion rates on our ecommerce platform. You will own critical UI components, collaborate with product managers, QA and backend engineers, and help shape an ambitious design system.

Proficiency with TypeScript, Vue 3, Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS is required, along with a strong eye for accessibility and performance.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with a strong UI/UX focus.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility and performance optimization.
• Professional experience with TypeScript and Vue 3.
• Hands-on Tailwind CSS and pixel-perfect UI implementation.
• Experience in B2C e-commerce or fast-paced boutique agencies.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.
• Excellent English communication and ability to adopt different perspectives.
• Nice to have Redis and Vue Storefront knowledge.

• Participate in knowledge sharing and engage with the internal engineering tech community.

Job Description

At least 5 years of professional experience and fundamental knowledge in frontend development.

Good grasp of accessibility and performance optimisation.

Professional experience with TypeScript and Vue 3.

Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and a keen eye for accurate UI design implementation.

Background in B2C e-commerce or experience working within a fast-paced boutique agency environment.

Practical knowledge of automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.

Excellent communication skills in English and a strong ability to adopt different perspectives.

Nice to Haves

Experience with Redis is a plus.

A passion for performance and accessibility

Initial knowledge of Vue Storefront and Scayle is an advantage
