Wooga, based in Berlin, seeks a Senior FP&A Controller for an 18‑month contract. You will partner with senior leaders, manage budgeting and forecasting, and drive high‑quality financial reporting across global teams, including Israel. The role demands strong Oracle ERP familiarity and proactive process improvement.

The ideal candidate has a finance background in a global company, excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills, and fluent English. Hybrid work with office visits twice weekly is offered.

Aufgaben

• Partner with business leaders to understand financial needs and challenges.
• Manage Oracle PR process: monitoring and approving PO and budgets.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and Bookkeeping teams in Israel HQ.
• Prepare and analyze monthly forecasts.
• Execute month-end close: accruals, reconciliations, budget vs actual.
• Create and deliver periodic financial summaries to senior management.
• Support monthly ad-hoc reporting for internal/external stakeholders.
• Contribute to FP&A process optimization.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process.

As a Senior FP&A Controller at Wooga, you will partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure strong financial planning, accuracy, and strategic insight across the company. Reporting to and working hand-in-hand with our FP&A Lead, as well as teams in our Israel headquarters you’ll play a key role in forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing financial performance. In this role, you will directly contribute to shaping data-driven decisions, optimizing financial processes, and delivering high-quality reporting that supports Wooga’s continued growth and success.

About the role

• This role is an 18 Months Fixed Term Contract
• Partnering with business leaders to understand their financial needs and challenges
• Managing the Oracle PR process, including monitoring and approving new purchase orders and budget requests
• Collaborating closely with multiple teams in the headquarters in Israel, including FP&A, Accounting and Bookkeeping departments
• Preparing and analyzing forecasts monthly
• Executing month close processes, including preparing accrual run, reconciliations and analysis of Budget vs Actual performance
• Creating and delivering periodic financial summaries to senior management
• Contributing to the timely, complete, accurate and consistent preparation of monthly ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing to optimization of the existing FP&A processes
• Participating in the annual budgeting process

About you

• Educational and professional background as a Financial Analyst
• Professional experience working in the finance team of a global company
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including Google spreadsheets and slides
• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to effectively present ideas to different departments
• Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Understanding of the high level of accuracy needed for the role, and executing with exceptional attention to detail
• Highly motivated and proactive individual, showing initiative to improve processes
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP and Knowledge of EPM Oracle is an advantage
