Wooga in Berlin seeks a Senior UI/UX professional for early-stage casual mobile F2P games. You will design UI screens, icons, and flows, shape UX, and own UI production end-to-end from prototyping to validation, aligning with a defined art direction.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior UI/UX professional with deep experience in casual mobile F2P games; someone who understands what makes games intuitive and compelling, and who can translate that understanding into clean, effective design. We're looking for someone who finds as much satisfaction in a polished UI screen as in a well-validated UX flow, and is comfortable owning their work end-to-end.

We’re a small team, and our process moves from quick prototyping through marketing validation to building a vertical slice and, if that succeeds, towards a launch. You'll shape UX early - helping validate that a concept is intuitive, and take on UI design and production as we build toward the various releases, with UX considerations continuing to surface as new features are added.

Good to know:

• This is a 1-year fixed-term contract
• While (re)location to Berlin is preferred, we will consider also remote applications. Please note that working hours will be standard Berlin working times (roughly 9 to 18).

About the job:

• Design and create UI screens, icons, flows, buttons, and game components for early-stage casual F2P mobile games, staying true to a defined art direction
• Maintain and evolve UI style guides and design systems for consistency across screens and features
• Own UX for new game prototypes, ensuring mechanics (even reimagined ones) are intuitive and easy to onboard into
• Translate game design and monetization requirements into clear, player-friendly interfaces
• Collaborate closely with artists, game designers, product managers, and engineers
• Work independently to scope, prioritize, and own delivery of work
• Report directly to the Creative Director of New Games

About you:

• Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry
• Strong UI design and execution skills, and sharp UX instincts, with the ability to shift fully into whichever the project phase demands, from concept-stage UX validation to UI production
• A solid grasp of onboarding, retention, and monetization-friendly design patterns
• 2D art skills for UI execution (icons, popups, liveops screens, and supporting visual elements in a defined art style)
• A portfolio demonstrating this range across UI production, UX validation, and supporting art
• Ability to work autonomously and drive ambiguous problems to resolution, while incorporating feedback from the Creative Director and cross-functional partners
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain decisions clearly to various cross-disciplinary stakeholders
• Proficiency with standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, or equivalent) as well as Unity for implementation and testing
• Comfort working in a small team, prototyping, wearing multiple hats, and shifting between conceptual and hands-on work is essential
