Google Cloud is seeking a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production-grade reality within customer environments. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions directly at the client site, operating with high autonomy and founder’s mindset.

This role emphasizes solving integration complexities, data readiness, and state-management to achieve enterprise-grade maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages.
• Experience taking AI-driven solutions from conception to launch and architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructure, including APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability to ensure accuracy, safety, and latency for agentic systems.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or formal feature requests for Engineering teams.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to ensure long-run project success and high end-user adoption.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
