Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Fortinet Network Security Engineer in Germany to design, deploy and support advanced Fortinet solutions. You will lead customer engagements from discovery through implementation, and mentor engineers while improving security architectures across multi-site environments.

Responsibilities include FortiGate/FortiOS deployment, SD-WAN design, and migration from legacy platforms, with a focus on strong customer relationships and technical excellence.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of network security, firewall, or infrastructure engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on Fortinet design and implementation experience
• Advanced knowledge of FortiGate/FortiOS
• Experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
• Strong routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, HA, and network segmentation
• Expertise with VPN, SD-WAN, dynamic routing, multi-site environments
• Proven ability to lead customer-facing technical projects and solve complex challenges independently
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Active Fortinet NSE 4 certification
• Preferred: NSE 7, NSE 8 and additional Fortinet certifications in Security Ops, SASE, Cloud, or Infrastructure
• Bonus: MSP/consulting/SI/VAR experience
• Bonus: Fortinet FortiSASE, FortiNAC, FortiAuthenticator, FortiClient EMS, FortiWeb, or FortiSIEM experience
