Tis Gmbh is seeking a Senior Fluid Systems / Instrumentation Engineer in Berlin to support a major offshore energy infrastructure project across Europe. This role focuses on designing and optimizing fluid and instrumentation systems for complex offshore and onshore installations while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, particularly in offshore wind or related sectors. The role offers hybrid work with limited international travel.

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Fluid Systems / Instrumentation Engineer to support a major offshore energy infrastructure project in Europe.

This role focuses on the design, review, and optimization of fluid and instrumentation systems for complex offshore and onshore installations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of technical specifications for fluid systems
• Support FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) activities
• Review of P&IDs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
• Development of inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Technical support related to HSE, quality assurance, and permitting
• Evaluation and minimization of technical risks during design, installation, commissioning, and operation
• Support system design documentation and technical coordination with stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects
• Strong background in instrumentation engineering and fluid/process systems
• Experience with P&ID review
• Instrument selection and sizing
• SIS / SIL systems
• Process and utility systems
• Experience in offshore wind, offshore platforms, FPSO, power generation, or similar environments
• Good understanding of HSE and quality requirements

Nice to Have

• Experience with offshore substations or HVDC projects
• Knowledge of FEED and EPC project environments
